22 Jump Street.
In this trailer the characters who are young and new to their professions are always messing up things in their work. This shows a stereotype because it shows that young people are never doing their work correctly. what it also shows in the trailer that young people are always getting drunk and not caring much about anything else, this gives off a bad impression about young people. They also show the use of drugs which also gives of an impression that young people (university age) are taking a lot of strong illegal drugs. The majority of this film is creating a stereotype which makes young people have a negative representation within the media.

Magazine analysis

This is a magazine called sound on sound. as you see it has basic yet eye catching design to the mag, which usually means it based at people who are 18-50, although it's not really an age based on peoples age group but their interests in the context of the mag (which can range from all different ages)

the rule of thirds is seen, you can see the main title of the mag on top (the masthead) you can also see the dateline which shows how new the magazine is and if it's up to date. in the middle of the magazine you see the main cover line, in this case the use of design is basic yet bold and eye catching. This is because it wants to target an audience of all different ages so they keep as basic as possible. Its also targeted to all genders. the cover lines you see (underneath the main cover line) are all the same colour and same font. This keeps everything basic and tidy to suit the targeted audience. you can't see the barcode which is usually located on the back (if not at the front). The main image is basic and just shows you some of he context the magazine looks at. it also links in with the main cover line which is remote collaboration and shows on the picture what that is.

like most magazine covers it shows different things like prizes that can be won. In this case people have the chance to win a microphone which is worth $2500. this can be seen on the bottom left of the screen.

in the Simpsons there is a shop keeper named Apu who works in a show. This could offend people because he is always shown as a side character in the program and could be seen as being racist.

Age

Age
This represents age (youth culture) it shows teenagers as criminals and should not represents all teenagers. in the poster you can see how teenagers are shown in a stereotypical way.

Gender

Gender
All of the 4 main characters are male and this shows the male race as being very diverse and dominant, throughout the series we see how the boys see females as sex objects and this is a main theme which runs throughout the series which often creates humour
